The Introduction to Solution Focused Brief Therapy CPD Course will give you the starting blocks to introduce this modality into your work. It can be used with individuals, couples, families - at anytime! A Solution Focused approach is proven as effective and concern’s itself primarily with creating a desired reality and achieving this through the use of simple future solution focused questioning techniques.
If you have ever felt 'stuck' with clients, then this is a fantastic resource & skill to use to move your client/s forward with hope and purpose.
SFBT can stand alone as a therapeutic intervention, or it can be integrated into other therapy styles and modalities. It is used to help people of all ages and a variety of issues, including child behavioural issues, family dysfunction, domestic or child abuse, addiction, and unhealthy relationships. Though not a cure for psychiatric disorders such as depression or schizophrenia, using good SFT questions may help improve quality of life for those who suffer from these mental health conditions.
