The Complete Training Journey

Your certification involves three integrated components designed to build genuine competence and confidence:
Part 1: Comprehensive Handbook Study - Deep engagement with this detailed trainer handbook covering all aspects of training delivery, business operations, and professional standards. This comes in a downloadable PDF for those that like to print out and reference and also by audio which is delivered in 6 Parts via your dashboard - you would of needed to have completed this by attendance of Part 2 residential. Although reading and taking action from the Handbook as soon as you receive it can ensure you can start looking for suitable venues and setting dates in the diary and start spreading the word and gaining excitement locally.

Part 2: Intensive 3-Day Certification Weekend - Friday through Sunday intensive covering live demonstration practice by each trainer, personal trauma processing, business model training, and comprehensive preparation for independent delivery. Maximum 8 participants due to wanting to have just a small network to start with, which ensures individual attention and quality learning.

Part 3: Supervised Co-Running Experience - Esjai and Tania will work with you to secure a suitable location and once everything is sorted Esjai will shadow you on your first event - we will hold your hand as much as you need!

The certification process typically takes 2-6 months from application to fully certified trainer status, depending on scheduling of your first event and individual progression through each phase.

Weekend Training Schedule Overview

Arrive Thursday 29th January 2026 from 6pm onwards Informal arrival, settling in, and welcome dinner
Friday: Building Foundations Through Experience (9am-6pm)

• Morning: Integration of theoretical understanding and addressing questions from the handbook.
• Afternoon: BLS equipment options discussion, peer practice sessions working 1:1 on one target memory/negative cognition each.
• Focus: Moving from theory to experiential learning, building confidence through hands-on practice.

Saturday: Training Skills & Demonstration Practice (9am-6pm)

• Morning: Facilitating adult learning principles, managing group dynamics in trauma training.
• Afternoon: Live demonstration practice – 4 trainers deliver 50-minute EMDR demonstrations with feedback and coaching.
• Focus: Developing training competence through practical application and peer support.

Sunday: Demonstration Completion & Business Readiness (9am-6pm)

• Morning: Remaining 4 trainers complete 50-minute live demonstrations with feedback and coaching.
• Afternoon: Business model deep-dive, client sourcing strategies, marketing and venue selection.
• Closing: Advanced facilitation skills, action planning for first training events, and ongoing support systems.

We have the venue until 10am on Monday the 2nd Feb 2026, so it's your choice if you want to stay another night!
