Why choose 'Working with Narcissism'?

The course has been awarded 3 CPD Hours.

The word “narcissist” is increasingly bandied about and used to describe people, but what does it actually mean? Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a serious condition which has a huge impact on the sufferer and anyone in a relationship with them.
Many therapists have had no training on personality disorders and unless they have experienced being in a narcissistic relationship, don’t recognise a narcissist when they come for therapy and don’t know how best to help those affected by them. So how do you know when you’re presented with a narcissist? Can they be treated? How can you help a victim or a survivor?

This course comprehensively explains just how Narcissistic Personality Disorder affects sufferers and the devastation they cause to all those in a relationship with them. It will teach you how to recognise a narcissist when they present in therapy and just what you can do to help sufferers, victims and survivors, as well as explaining why people find it so difficult to leave such a relationship.
